Cooperation with residents and stakeholders

Consultation and cooperation is an important part of the project, and the creation of initial proposals and pre-design of the areas will be based on conversations, research and consultation. The basis of the consultation and the formulation of the future vision is based on a methodology that has been developed through the project MAPS and the European project Human Cities - SMOTIES. Emphasis is placed on good information provision alongside active consultation, where the public can provide comments and suggestions to designers at any time during the design process. To this end, a variety of methods will be used, as in addition to briefings, workshops and consultation groups, a live website, social media, questionnaires, augmented reality and installations (tactical urbanism) will also be used. Then the final result of the preliminary design will be presented with a computer model and drawings.

Focus Groups

Mailing list: All those interested in receiving information about the progress of the project via e-mail are encouraged to sign up for the project's mailing list via the email address sogutorgin@gmail.com. Backcountry groups: A group of people with certain common interests. Each group has its own spokesperson who presents the group's views. An example of a back country group could be primary school, kindergarten and the elderly. Working groups/focus groups: Those who are very interested in actively participating in the project are encouraged to volunteer for participation in working groups/focus groups. The aim is for the groups to meet up to 6-7 times until the end of the next year. Those interested in registering for a working group/focus group are encouraged to contact via the email address sogutorgin@gmail.com.

Home Page

This website is an important forum for the consultation, because it will be possible to monitor the progress of individual aspects of the project (see the Project tab) and submit proposals (see «SUBMIT SUGGESTIONS). Links to questionnaires will also be published on the website.

Social Media

Facebook and Instragram To get information and follow the progress - be sure to follow the project's Facebook and Instagram pages.

Augmented Reality

In the project, augmented reality will be used, where digital reality and reality are mixed together with the help of specially designed equipment - which is usually phones. The technology therefore offers to experience ideas for proposals, e.g. buildings, trees, gardens, benches or flowers, on the spot walk the phone and rate them.

Installations (Tactical Urbanism)

A scalable, temporary intervention in an environment that can be implemented at low cost. Example: Paint directions on sidewalks or place benches and/or portable planters in squares. In this way, it is possible to see and predict the long-term effects of these interventions, which in turn provide important information for design processes.

This page will feature information related to resident participation specifically, as the project progresses and data is received.
